College Tuition Reimbursement
Upon the first-year anniversary of your employment you will become eligible to participate in the tuition reimbursement program. To enroll at Macomb Community College please obtain a third-party billing letter from the Personnel Department prior to registration. When you have successfully completed (3.0 or better) any job-related courses you MUST present your report card and textbook receipt to the Personnel Department to receive your textbook reimbursement.
Please contact Human Resources before you register for the course to determine if it is job related. Part-time employees please inquire with Human Resources to discuss the options. We strongly encourage ALL employees to better themselves and their career opportunities by using this program to its fullest. The materials, textbooks, and knowledge gained are yours to keep forever. Excellent programs are available through MCC and CMU-Detroit Extension.
Employees who fail or improperly drop classes in the MCC Applied Tech Program that Lanzen has paid tuition for will have that class fee deducted from their paycheck.
